Sales Executive – SaaS and Security Solutions

 

5i Solutions is growing and seeking business development representatives who have experience in selling SaaS and security solutions. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a consultative sales approach, have an entrepreneurial spirit with strong skills in networking, building trusted relationships, and managing the sales process. Candidates must have a basic understanding of the business value of network security, data security, and business process automation.

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 5+ years’ experience selling technology to include some or all of the following: firewall products, network and cyber security solutions, and SaaS solutions to help companies manage and leverage data

  • Must have working knowledge of cyber security and data management

  • Should be skilled in determining needs and business value to customer

  • Must be able to make compelling presentations to a variety of audiences using visual aids, slide shows, and other media and resources

  • Demonstrate a consultative sales approach with the ability to connect solutions and new ideas for a successful client experience

  • Focuses the sales effort around identifying and fulfilling customers’ current and future needs

  • Have proven track record of selling to C-level executives

  • Must be able to work independently as well as with other team members to close opportunities

  • Inspire others with enthusiasm and positive energy

Security Engineer

5i is in search of a qualified Network Security Engineer, who enjoys security work and possesses expertise (depth and breadth) knowledge in the security space. The NSE will be responsible for pre-sales support and solutions architecture. They will implement their design / solution or direct an implementation team. They will analyze problems, perform troubleshooting and incident response on systems, communicate with customers or site technicians and track problems through to resolution. Essential job functions will include, but are not limited to the following:

Job Requirements:

  • Accompany account executives to help identify new opportunities and design secure client solutions

  • Implement internal, edge, and external security solutions with a primary goal of risk and threat reduction

  • Perform baseline network assessments, vulnerability tests, and penetration testing of networked environments and applications

  • Must be able to visualize how micro-security challenges have impact on the macro or larger picture from a networking and application perspective

  • Identifying and researching problems to determine the root cause of the problem

  • Triage or troubleshoot problems based on the standard operating procedures to include coordinating with third-party vendors, customer contacts, or other IT teams

  • Identify and assist in the selection of new and emerging security products and services

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience and strong understanding of switched and routed network environments

  • Have an expert understanding of communications protocols

  • Have a good understanding of multiple operating systems and environments (Microsoft, Linux variants, Embedded / real-time systems)

  • Have a good understanding of common identity and authentication methods (LDAP(S), Azure, ADFS)

  • Strong understanding and practical use and implementation of web application gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, endpoint security (AV, IDS/IPS (UTM), DLP, Malware Prevention)

  • Strong understanding of encryption methods and protocols

  • Experience managing, supporting and deploying network infrastructures

  • Strong ability to diagnose server or network alerts, events or issues

  • Experience with Disaster Recovery plans and related technologies

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and projects with minimal supervision

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to address conflict with others constructively

Education/Experience:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field (or) High School Diploma and Equivalent Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, and Virtual Environments

  • Security and networking certifications a plus (i.e. CISSP.) but not a requirement. “we are looking for “hands-on experience”


NOC Security Engineer

5i is in search of a qualified Network Security Operation Center Engineer, who enjoys security work and possesses expertise (depth and breadth) knowledge in the security space. The NOC Security Engineer will be responsible for monitoring central computer networks and servers for security problems. They will analyze problems, perform troubleshooting and incident response on the system, communicate with customers or site technicians and track problems through to resolution. Essential job functions will include, but are not limited to the following:

Job Requirements:

  • The core of the position is the configuration, remote deployment of, and management / monitoring of standalone Firewalls, Clustered Firewalls (Fortinet / Meraki / Cisco), Endpoint Protection Systems (Trend Micro / Symantec), and SIEM Systems

  • Monitor Security Events, evaluate their severity and decide if event needs further attention and / or remediation

  • Monitoring the performance, capacity, and health of computer systems and networks using a variety of evaluation and monitoring tools

  • Triage or troubleshoot customer service requests and problems based on standard operating procedures to include coordinating with third-party vendors, customer contacts, or other IT teams

  • Develop and maintain tracking processes and/or systems to document all issues and resolution in detail

  • Coordinate troubleshooting processes to include engagement of support from management, IT resources or 3rd party vendors in an effort to gain resolution

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience and strong understanding of switched and routed network environments

  • Strong understanding and practical use of web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, endpoint security (AV, IDS/IPS (UTM), DLP, Malware Prevention)

  • Experience managing, supporting and deploying network infrastructures

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and projects with minimal supervision

Education/Experience:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field (or) High School Diploma and Equivalent Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network communications (routers, switches) good understanding of VLANs

  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Microsoft Client Operating Systems and Server Operating Systems

  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, and Virtual Environments
    Microsoft, Networking, and Security Certifications a plus, not a requirement
